Cheltenham Custom Framing, is a family owned and operated picture framing company, that has been in business for over 38 years. Formally called Mentone Art Centre of Thrift Park Shopping Centre (corner Nepean Hwy and Lower Dandenong road), recent changes in management of the centre meant that the business had to move. Since our relocation to Cheltenham (right opposite the train station in Charman Road) in early 2006, business has thrived. Our services have expanded to include photographic restoration, panoramic landscapes and even an in-house modern portrait studio!
Current owners Ian and Ann Rolfe are dedicated to giving their customers the best result, every time. They pride themselves on high standards of quality and service – no job is too big or too small.
Ian Rolfe, a passionate genealogist, honed his Photoshop skills over many years of working on his own family’s extensive collection of damaged and faded photographs. This experience combined with extensive study on all aspects of retouching makes him a rare expert in the field of photographic restoration.
Our senior member of staff John Magill has over 35 years experience in art and antique restoration, the printing industry and interior design. His expertise in framing is unrivalled and is an integral component of the Cheltenham Custom Framing team.
Principal photographer Matt Bennett, works as an in-house studio portrait family and child photographer. His business, Matt Bennett Photography run with his wife Andrea (daughter of owners Ian and Ann Rolfe) has grown immensely in the past 12 months and are now leaders in the bayside area for child and family photography.
Our administration manager Ann Rolfe overseas and monitors the stock and ensures the smooth running and production of all the orders that pass through the shop.
